Food and hospitality have always been a love of mine, and with my parents’ push I took the leap to go to culinary school directly after college. I graduated with honors from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and then moved back to Atlanta to be close to family. Although my culinary career included stints at the Ritz-Carlton and helping run a catering company, it was cut short due to the need to help out the family business, GPI Group.

I started with company in 2006 managing the supply chain aspect. In 2010, we decided it was time to expand our brand, and I started a medical distribution company, Althea Medical Group. Over the past eight years I have handled every aspect of this company that started with one product and grew to over 250!

In 2016, the crazy idea of starting a brewery was thrown out and my eyes lit up. It was an opportunity to come full circle with what I really love: hospitality. As the idea grew to reality, my role shifted to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, leaving Althea behind.

Just like my career, my personal life has changed as well. I’m a wife and a mother of two boys and one girl. When life is balanced, I spend my downtime cooking and trying new recipes as I find it relaxing. I love to travel, be adventurous and spend time with my family. One adventure I’m happy to have crossed off my bucket list was running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

The past sixteen years with the family business have been a wild ride, but one I’m fortunate to be a part of. I can’t wait to see where the future takes us!
